Shipping information

We strive to ship every order within 24 hours, but sometimes delays do occur. If you do have an e-mail address, please include this, so we can advise you of any delays. Most books are shipped via US mail, but we may also use UPS or FedEx ground services: please be aware that these may require a signature. If you have a preference, please let us know. If you need a book or movie to arrive before a certain time, please also email or call us to make sure your order will arrive in time.

We offer the following shipping options:
For our customers in the USA or APO addresses:
Standard Mail (Book Rate) $3.50 plus 50 cents each additional item. Please note, this may take 2 weeks to reach California.
Priority Mail: $5.00 first item plus $2.00 each additional item. (Very heavy items may cost extra. We will contact you if there is a problem).
Express Mail (Overnight to most locations): $18 for the first item, plus $2.50 for each additional item. (Very heavy items may cost extra. We will contact you if there is a problem).

Foreign orders Airmail: $10.00 for the first item, plus $8.00 for each additional item. These prices are estimated. Charges are based on the weight of items and the price schedule published by the US Post Office. You will not necessarily pay the estimated amount, it could in fact be less expensive. If the price is more or less than estimated, we will contact you before processing your order.

Surface: As of May 14, 2007, the US Post Office will no longer offer surface mail. If you have a large order (more than 6 books), we can prepare a price quote for M-Bag delivery. There is a flat rate up to 11 pounds (5kg) and fees are based on the country the books are being shipped to. We will prepare the quote and contact you by email. At this time your order is being totaled without shipping.

Periodicals: Every issue is mailed directly to you from Moscow (or other locations) via airmail. We can accept subscriptions for any location in the world and they can start at any time. Not sure if you want to subscribe for one year? We accept orders for subscriptions for as little as 6 months. We strive to make sure that you get every issue in your subscription, but sometimes issues can go missing in the mail. We ask that you let us know (by e-mail, fax, phone): we will then have a replacement copy sent to you.

In any country there are always changes in the publishing industry, new titles appear and others disappear. If your newspaper or journal ceases publication, we will credit you the balance of the undelivered issues and suggest replacement titles. You can also sign-up on our web site for periodical updates: we will announce new titles, changes in publishing schedules during holidays and more.
